Established in 2009 by Holly Keller, formerly known as COVE ADOPTIVE FAMILIES, we began as a support group for children and families in the community who were touched by adoption.

We sought to support, educate, and advocate for children who had been and who were still waiting to be joined with their forever families. As the years have passed our focus has evolved. To better serve our Mission, in 2023 we changed our name to YES to Kids (Youth Empowerment Scholarships)

YES to Kids is on a Mission to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in our community.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities despite their financial situation.
That is why we will help provide financial assistance to disadvantaged children, 18 and under, who are or want
YES to Kids is on a Mission to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in our community.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities despite their financial situation.
That is why we will help provide financial assistance to disadvantaged children, 18 and under, who are or want to enroll in an organization that aligns with our Mission and are experiencing financial hardship.
All scholarships are not to exceed $500.00 per child per season. To apply for assistance download the General Scholarship Form listed below. Follow the directions on the form for submission.
Why Support Us
Because we know that our community has a large percentage of families who are at a financial disadvantage.
It is a struggle for them to keep the lights on and food on the table.
The last thing families are able to provide for their child, even though they wish they could, is the opportunity to play in sports or sing on stage. Whatever the passion they deserve that opportunity.
Because we know that children who engage in extracurricular activities are less likely to participate in activities that harm them such as substance abuse and crime.
Because we know that idle time spent for children is not mentally or physically healthy for them.
Because we know that extracurricular activities promote life skills such as time management, emotional control, and goal setting.
Because we know that extracurricular activities have endless positive outcomes for child development. All of which will lead to creating a well rounded, productive member of society.

Hebrews 13:16 Verse 28 says:
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Private donations are appreciated and accepted. Checks should be made payable to YES to Kids.
